This contemporary dance workshop invites participants to explore movement through improvisation, musicality and simple movement phrases. We will focus on body awareness, coordination, flow and creativity in a welcoming atmosphere. The workshop is open to teenagers and adults of all experience levels and offers an opportunity to discover contemporary dance in an accessible and enjoyable way. Workshop will be led in English.
Lucía María Rubio Belda is a contemporary dance artist from Spain and a graduate of the B. A. Dance programme at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt (HfMDK). Her background combines classical ballet and contemporary dance, with experience in performance, improvisation and teaching. She enjoys creating inclusive classes that encourage creativity, confidence and freedom of movement.
